COMMON Signs You Need ALIGNMENT OR SUSPENSION WORK

How often should I get a wheel alignment?
Once a year is a reasonable baseline for most drivers, and any time you put on new tires. You should also get it checked after hitting a hard pothole or curb, or any time you have suspension or steering parts replaced, since that work changes the geometry.
Do I need an alignment or do I need new tires?
Sometimes both. An alignment corrects the angles so your tires wear evenly going forward, but it will not undo wear that has already happened. If the tread is already cupped or worn down on one edge, the tire will usually stay noisy or keep vibrating even after the alignment. We will look at both and tell you honestly where you stand.
What is the difference between shocks and struts?
Both control how the suspension moves, but a strut is a structural part of the suspension and a shock is not. That means struts also affect your alignment, so vehicles with struts need an alignment after replacement. Which one your vehicle has depends on the make and model, and we can tell you when we look at it.
How long does a wheel alignment take?
Most alignments take about an hour once your vehicle is on the rack. If we find a worn part that needs to be replaced first, we will call you with the cost before we do anything, since aligning a car with a bad tie rod or ball joint will not hold.
Can you align lifted trucks?
Yes. Lifted and leveled trucks need an alignment after the kit goes on, and the specs are different than stock. We install lift and leveling kits here as well, so we can handle the install and the alignment together. You can see more on our Vehicle Customization page.

We do. Loaner cars are available for an affordable fee so you are not stuck waiting or arranging a ride while we work on your vehicle.
